2/12/08 Major Becks Journal Ep. 2.1
Well, here I am in Jericho, KS. How did these two towns get so much fire power? And a tank. A freaken TANK? I’m not asking; don’t want to know at this point. That Constantino is a piece of work. Wonder how long he’ll survive; must be on the top of hit lists in both towns. Will have to keep on top of that situation.
So what have I accomplished so far? Liaison between towns — Heather, cute kid; smart and gutsy. Stood up to Col. Hoffman. Doesn’t seem to be vengeful. I think she’ll work out.
Wonder how that Gray guy got elected? No matter. At least I found my “guy.” I think he’ll do well in the roll of Sheriff now that I’ve convinced him to move forward. It was good that he was able to stop his brother. That would have been a complication I could do without. They’re good people in a bad situation. Will have to keep on top of that also.
Haven’t made any progress in the hunt for Sarah Mason. But if she’s here, I’ll find her; that’s top priority.
The President coming to town is something I could have done without. It’s only been 4 weeks since these two towns were at war and now we have to ensure the President’s safety; keep the two towns from killing each other and find a terrorist! Piece of cake.
Still don’t like that flag. Just can’t get used to it.
